Lacklustre Lyon lose again

Members

The French champions Olympique Lyonnais remain winless in 2007 after losing 1-0 at ES Troyes Aube Champagne, but still boast a huge lead in Ligue 1.

Nivet winner
Benjamin Nivet's last-gasp goal for Troyes means Gérard Houllier's side have lost three of their last four Ligue 1 games, but still hold a healthy eleven-point lead over second-placed RC Lens after 23 matches. Troyes goalkeeper Ronan Le Crom was the star of the show, denying Juninho Pernambucano twice and midfielder Tiago's close-range header midway through the second half.

PSG point
Troyes remain in 17th place on 24 points after PSG collected a point from their visit to fourth-placed Marseille. Djibril Cissé opened the scoring for the home side in the 69th minute, a lead which was to last just six minutes thanks to Pauleta's ninth league goal of the season. It remains tight at the bottom with the capital club just one point above a FC Nantes Atlantique side who occupy the final place in the drop zone.
