Ramos incident Ramos was carried off the pitch unconscious on a stretcher shortly after Sevilla had taken a 1-0 aggregate lead through Frédéric Kanouté 12 minutes into the second half. Medical staff at the Estadio Manuel Ruiz de Lopera told reporters that Ramos regained consciousness as he was put into an ambulance but the Seville derby was called off.
