Event management workshops

As part of the HatTrick Knowledge Sharing Project, a series of three workshops on event management have been successfully completed.

Three workshops
The workshops were co-organised and hosted by national associations in Helsinki (November 2006), Bucharest (December 2006) and Zagreb (February 2007).

Critical issues
In total, 25 associations participated in the workshops which focused on critical issues associated with event management. Associations brought their particular issues to the table and were able to exchange views with other associations and experts on football events over 1.5 days.

Real-life situations
"The workshops allowed participants to really dig deep into real-life situations" commented André Boder, UEFA Education Project Manager. "By discussing with colleagues from other associations and receiving input from the experts, concrete best practices and solutions emerged."

E-learning platform
The workshops have been videoed and the key points and documentation are being integrated into the e-learning platform of the project.

TV rights
The next series of workshops focused on TV rights at workshops between March to May 2007 in Skopje, Bratislava and Yerevan.
