Lyon, who went out of the UEFA Champions League against AS Roma in midweek, took the lead through Czech striker Milan Baroš but Marseille hit back when Mamadou Niang found the net two minutes from time. Lyon are now on 62 points, 13 clear of Lens at the top of the table.
Early shock
Lens fell behind against Sedan in the first minute when Grégory Pujol hit the target but levelled through Seydou Keita in the 28th. Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain FC could not ease their relegation fears as they lost 1-0 at home to AJ Auxerre, Younes Kaboul scoring the only goal four minutes before half-time. PSG are one place off the bottom on 28 points, two behind ES Troyes Aube Champagne who sit in 17th and outside the relegation zone.
