KRC Genk have signed Hungarian midfielder Balász Tóth from Malatyaspor for an undisclosed fee as they prepare for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

KRC Genk have signed Hungarian international midfielder Balász Tóth from Malatyaspor for an undisclosed fee as they prepare for the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

Three-year deal
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the club who upset the form book by finishing second in the Belgian First Division this season. Capped 20 times by Hungary, Tóth started his career at FC Fehérvár before moving to Turkey with Malatyaspor midway through the 2004/05 season. He spent the current season on loan at Kayseri Erciyesspor. Genk will start their UEFA Champions League campaign in the second qualifying round.
