Sariyar heads back to Vienna

Yüksel Sariyar has returned to FK Austria Wien from FCS Pasching as the side from the Austrian capital look forward to playing UEFA Cup football next season.

Former trainee
The 27-year-old midfielder had previously played in the youth ranks at the Vienna club, but has now agreed a two-year contract with the senior side. He played 25 league games for Pasching this season, scoring twice. Austria beat SV Mattersburg 2-1 on 1 May to claim their third successive Austrian Cup and book a place in the first qualifying round of the 2007/08 UEFA Cup.
