The 26-year-old, who made only four of his 169 league appearances for Aston Villa this season, will sign a four-year contract at the Reebok Stadium on 1 July. His versatility will prove useful to Lee as the club look to progress in the Europe following their qualification for the UEFA Cup first round.
Transfer frenzy
The transfer is the latest in a frenzy of activity at the Premier League club with striker Zoltán Harsányi signing a permanent deal following a loan spell and four players being released - Henrik Pedersen, Quinton Fortune, David Thompson and César Martín.
