Torino FC have parted company with coach Gianni De Biasi after he preserved their Serie A status in his second spell in charge of the club.

Friendly parting
The 50-year-old led Torino to promotion last season but was sacked just before the start of the 2006/07 campaign. He was then reappointed in February when his successor Alberto Zaccheroni departed and managed to keep them up, with Torino finishing one point and one place above the relegation zone. Club chairman Urbano Cairo, said: "De Biasi is no longer our coach. We looked each other in the eyes and decided to part on friendly terms."
