FC Energie Cottbus have signed 26-year-old Denmark international forward Dennis Sørensen on a four-year contract from UEFA Cup contenders FC Midtjylland.

Bundesliga outfit FC Energie Cottbus have signed Danish international forward Dennis Sørensen on a four-year contract from UEFA Cup contenders FC Midtjylland.

Sympathetic style
The 26-year-old, capped three times for Denmark, scored eleven goals in 30 league matches for Midtjylland last season as they finished second in the Danish Superliga. "We were eager to sign him because his style of play with lots of runs and commitment fits the way we play," said Cottbus general manager Steffen Heidrich. Midtjylland will start their UEFA Cup campaign in the first qualifying round.
