Claudio Ranieri has concluded his first piece of business since taking charge of Juventus on Monday, convincing French full-back Jonathan Zebina to sign a four-year contract extension until 2011.
'Proud'
The 28-year-old joined the Turin side three years ago from AS Roma, where he claimed the Scudetto in 2001, and played 23 games as Juventus won Serie B last month to seal a return to Italian football's top table. "I'm proud to play another four years with Juventus," Zebina said. "The club, my team-mates and the new coach convinced me it was the right choice." Capped once by France, Zebina has also represented AS Cannes in his homeland and Italian outfit Cagliari Calcio.
