'Fantastic feeling'
The 32-year-old Zé Manel, whose full name is José Manuel da Silva Fernandes, was delighted to revive his career by agreeing to a two-year deal at the northern Portuguese outfit after being released by Boavista FC for whom he scored 18 league goals in 84 appearances over three seasons. "It is a fantastic feeling to represent such a club," said the attacking midfielder, who can also play up front. "What's more, we are going to be playing in the UEFA Cup, which is a wonderful competition." Lenny, meanwhile, brings youthful promise to Braga, the 19-year-old Brazilian having agreed to a year-long loan deal from Fluminense FC. "We are playing in the UEFA Cup but, who knows, maybe next year we'll be in the UEFA Champions League," said the teenage forward.
