Dream come true
The left-footed 30-year-old has joined the Dutch champions on a two-year contract, returning to the club where he started his career in 1988. Van der Leegte made his professional debut in 1994/95 and spent two years with the PSV first team before spells at RKC Waalwijk, FC Twente and ADO Den Haag. He joined Wolfsburg midway through the 2005/06 season and after 45 games for the Bundesliga side jumped at the chance of a return to Eindhoven. "I had always hoped this would happen," Van der Leegte said. PSV will play in the group stage of next season's UEFA Champions League.
