Debreceni VSC have boosted their striking options ahead of the next European campaign by signing forwards Dorge Kouemaha and Zsombor Kerekes.

Trial spell
Kouemaha, 23 and from Cameroon, had spent the last week on trial at the Hungarian champions after impressing in the past two seasons at NB 1 rivals FC Tatabánya. In the 2006/07 campaign, he scored 12 goals in 25 matches. He first moved to Europe for the 2004/05 season when he signed at Greek club Aris Thessaloniki FC. A tall target man, Kouemaha has signed a four-year contract.

Back home
The 33-year-old Kerekes has returned to Debrecen after two years in Dutch football with Willem II. Having played 20 league games in his first campaign, scoring twice, he then made just seven appearances this time around. Capped nine times by his country, he has agreed a one-year contract with Miroslav Beránek’s side who will enter the 2007/08 UEFA Champions League in the second qualifying round.
