AaB bring in former Brøndby keeper

Danish UEFA Intertoto Cup participants Aalborg BK have signed goalkeeper Karim Zaza on a two-year contract as a replacement for Jimmy Nielsen, who moved to English second-tier side Leicester City FC earlier this summer.

The twice-capped Moroccan international was without a club after being allowed to leave SC Rot-Weiss Essen following their relegation from the German second division. The 32-year-old has plenty of experience of Danish football having played for FC København, Odense BK and Brøndby IF prior to transferring last summer to the 2. Bundesliga. Zaza said: "It was best for me to go back to Denmark. AaB are an ambitious club who always want to be in the race for the medals in the league."
