Paris Saint-Germain FC have signed the versatile former French Under-21 international defender Grégory Bourillon on a three-year contract from Stade Rennais FC.
Le Guen happy
The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Rennes before making his debut in the 2002/03 campaign. He quickly established himself as a first-team regular and went on to play 114 league games for the club, including 23 last season as Rennes finished fourth to qualify for the 2007/08 UEFA Cup. He has not played since 3 February because of a knee injury. Bourillon has spurned the chance of European football to join PSG, who are aiming to improve on 15th place last season. PSG coach Paul Le Guen, who has also signed Le Havre AC striker Didier Digard this summer, said: "Grégory can play as a centre-back but also as a midfielder. He is a player I know very well and am happy to welcome. He was much liked at Rennes."
