Article body
UEFA's HatTrick assistance programme aims at providing crucial help to the European national associations - and a new section on uefa.com shows how knowledge is being shared between the European body and its 53 member countries.
Sharing project
The HatTrick Knowledge Sharing Project, has aimed to enhance the professional work of the national associations by looking at crucial problem areas and finding solutions and measures for improvement. Users can access news and details of the project by clicking here. The areas being addressed within the project include TV and internet rights, promotion of football events, management of fan clubs, safety and security, ticketing, sponsor issues and media matters.
Effective solutions
"If we give association managers the right working tools, the association profits and is able to take care of its affairs in a more efficient manner, and seek effective solutions to problems that arise," says UEFA education project manager André Boder.
Different pillars
The new section on uefa.com will cover the variety of different pillars within the Knowledge Sharing Project - seminars on issues such as project and event management, marketing and legal matters; workshops to look at critical areas; and supporting the associations in setting up new working practices. In addition, a customised e-learning platform is helping to strengthen the association staff's skills with the aid of interactive explanations, videos and exercises.
