Sponsors withdraw
Apatin finished sixth last season - the best result in their history - but the withdrawal of their main sponsors meant they felt they were unable to compete again this term. The Football Association of Serbia's executive committee decided to hand their place in the 12-team league to Napredak, who lost out to FK Borac in a promotion play-off at the end of last season. The new campaign starts on 11 August.
