Evseev makes contact with Saturn

Former Russian international defender Vadim Evseev is to return to the Premier-Liga by joining FC Saturn Moskovskaya Oblast from FC Torpedo Moskva.

The 31-year-old, who scored the play-off goal against Wales that took Russia to UEFA EURO 2004™, will link up with his former captain at FC Lokomotiv Moskva, Dmitri Loskov, who moved to Saturn last month. Evseev has made 20 appearances for first division Torpedo this season. Saturn are ninth in the Premier-Liga with eleven games to go, having climbed three points above the relegation zone with their 2-0 defeat of FC Kuban Krasnodar on Saturday.
