Livorno get Giannichedda from Juve

Giuliano Giannichedda has left Juventus to join fellow Serie A club AS Livorno Calcio for an undisclosed fee.

The combative midfield player, 32, appeared 20 times last season as the Turin giants won Serie B to seal a swift return to the top tier of Italian football, having previously played for Udinese (1995-2001) and S.S. Lazio (2001-2005). Giannichedda made his Italy debut in a friendly against Belarus in 1999 but only added two further caps.
