Kabze has joined Rubin on a three-year contract, according to the club who sit sixth in Russia's Premier-Liga. The forward, who won his seven Turkey caps between April and June 2006, was out of favour at Galatasaray under coach Karl-Heinz Feldkamp.
Substitute cameos
He had moved to the Istanbul outfit from Çanakkale Dardanelspor in January 2005, and went on to score 16 goals in 54 games. However, Kabze started only ten of those matches, including six last season. He becomes the third Turkish player in the Russian top flight, after Fatih Tekke at FC Zenit St. Petersburg and Caner Erkin at PFC CSKA Moskva.
