Transfer round up: On transfer deadline day in Italy Parma FC have re-signed Bernardo Corradi while striker Álvaro Recoba has joined Torino FC on loan.

With the transfer window closing at midnight on 31 August, uefa.com rounds up last-day signings involving clubs in Serie A.

Parma FC have signed ex-Italy striker Bernardo Corradi on a season's loan from Manchester City FC. The 31-year-old former S.S. Lazio and Valencia CF player scored ten goals in 35 starts while on loan at the club in the 2005/06 campaign before he moved to England last summer. Parma have also borrowed Kenyan midfielder Macdonald Mariga, 20, from Swedish side Helsingborgs IF.

Torino FC have landed Uruguayan international Álvaro Recoba on a season's loan from FC Internazionale Milano. The 31-year-old forward has been with the Nerazzurri since 1997, having arrived from Montevideo side Club Nacional de Football. He has scored 53 goals in 175 Serie A games for Inter. Torino have also acquired 22-year-old defender Hernán Dellafiore on loan from US Città di Palermo.

AS Livorno Calcio have signed much-travelled midfielder Daniele de Vezze from FC Messina Peloro in an undisclosed deal. The 27-year-old had spells at AS Roma, Palermo, AC Reggiana, ACF Fiorentina, Ascoli Calcio 1898 and Genoa CFC before moving to Messina 12 months ago. He made 27 league appearances for the Sicilian outfit and although they were relegated, he did enough to catch the eye of Livorno and earn another season of top-flight football.

In addition, Livorno have taken Albania striker Erjon Bogdani on loan from Serie B side AC Chievo Verona. The 30-year-old, who has been in Italy since the 1999/2000 season – with Reggina Calcio, Salernitana Sport, Hellas-Verona FC and AC Siena – joined Chievo in January, scoring five goals in 19 games. Livorno have also acquired Honduras midfielder Edgar Álvarez on a similar basis from Roma. The 27-year-old spent last term with Messina.

The 30-year-old S.S. Lazio defender Manuel Belleri will spend the campaign on loan at Atalanta BC, who have also borrowed the 27-year-old defender Maximiliano Pellegrino from CA Vélez Sarsfield in Argentina. Ligue 1 high-flyers AS Monaco FC, meanwhile, signed Atalanta BC defender Adriano on a four-year contract. The 25-year-old appeared in 25 games last season for the Bergamo side.
