Newcastle United FC have completed the signing of Senegal defenders Abdoulaye Faye and Habib Beye for undisclosed fees from Bolton Wanderers and Olympique de Marseille respectively.

Familiar face
The 29-year-old Faye has signed a three-year deal with the Premier League outfit, where he will be reunited with former Bolton manager Sam Allardyce. It was Allardyce who originally brought him to England in 2005, signing him from RC Lens, and he went on to make 60 league appearances for Bolton. Beye, meanwhile, will be a newcomer to English football having spent the last eleven seasons in France with Paris Saint-Germain FC, RC Strasbourg and Marseille. Like compatriot Faye, Beye is 29 and has committed until summer 2010.
