Paris Saint-Germain FC and Olympique de Marseille shared the spoils as both sides continued their indifferent starts in Ligue 1 while OGC Nice piled on the pain for RC Lens.

Points shared
Both PSG and Marseille started the game in the French capital with only one victory to their name from their opening six league fixtures and were left frustrated as their rivals were able to end the weekend further clear at the top. Visitors Marseille took the lead eleven minutes into the contest when Djibril Cissé found the net, but it was a lead that would only last ten minutes before Péguy Luyindula equalised against his former employers.

More Lens woe
The late game on Sunday, meanwhile, saw Lens continue their winless start to the league campaign. Jean-Pierre Papin's side had won in the coach's first game in charge in the UEFA Cup on Thursday, but they reverted back to their previous disappointing form on the domestic front against Nice. Bakary Kone scored the only goal seven minutes into the second half to leave Lens languishing one place off the bottom with just two points.
