Lithuanian player Saulius Mikoliunas has been suspended for two UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying competition matches by UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body.
Diving punished
Mikoliunas was found guilty of deceiving the referee (diving) during the UEFA EURO 2008™ qualifying Group B match between Scotland and Lithuania on 8 September. Mikoliunas will miss Lithuania’s forthcoming qualifers away against France on 17 October 2007 and at home against Ukraine on 17 November.
