Walter Zenga has left FC Dinamo 1948 Bucureşti by mutual consent — just 80 days after being named as coach of the Liga 1 outfit.

Short stay
The former Italy international goalkeeper replaced Mircea Rednic after his resignation in early September, but took charge of just 13 matches in all competitions. Eleven of those were in the league, where Dinamo have not won for five matches and yesterday lost 1-0 to city rivals FC Steaua Bucureşti. "I'm deeply sorry because I could not achieve at Dinamo," said Zenga. "It was my wish to gain positive results as I believed in the club's objectives, but unfortunately I failed. This kind of situation happens everywhere in the world though; this is the life of a coach." Dinamo, who have placed Cornel Talnar in temporary charge, are sixth in the Romanian top-flight 14 points behind leaders CFR 1907 Cluj.
