One-match ban for Wenger

Cases

Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger has received a suspension after his dismissal against Sevilla FC.

Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger has received a one-match touchline ban for improper conduct after his dismissal in the UEFA Champions League game against Sevilla FC in Spain on 27 November.

Ban already served
The ban, for one UEFA club competition match, has now been served, because Wenger did not exercise his function as coach due to his automatic suspension for Arsenal's final Group H game against FC Steaua Bucureşti in London on 12 December.

Not subject to appeal
UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body was told that in the 80th minute of the match against Sevilla, Wenger was dismissed from the coach's technical area for having left that area several times and having shown dissent by word and action against refereeing decisions. The decision is not subject to appeal.
