Dutch Eredivisie side FC Groningen have compensated for the loss of Rasmus Lindgren and Erik Nevland by signing Anco Jansen and Berry Powel.
Midfield duo
Midfielder Jansen, 18, arrives from Eerste Divisie outfit FC Zwolle on loan until the end of the campaign, replacing Lindgren who left for AFC Ajax. Another midfield option available to coach Ron Jans is 20-year-old Danny Holla, returning to Groningen after half a season on loan with Zwolle, where he scored eight goals in 23 appearances.
Striking option
Powel, meanwhile, has accepted a one-and-a-half year deal with the option of an extra two, after his capture from De Graafschap for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old forward will help fill the void created by Nevland's transfer to Fulham FC. Powel's place at De Graafschap has been taken by Dutch youth international Diego Biseswar, with the 19-year-old coming in on loan from Feyenoord.
