Finland duo join Hodgson at Fulham

Finnish internationals Jari Litmanen and Toni Kallio have linked up with their former national team coach Roy Hodgson at his new side, Premier League Fulham FC.

'Big part to play'
Now 36, the 110-times capped forward Litmanen has joined the London club until the end of the season after leaving Swedish side Malmö FF. "Although he is not entirely match fit at the moment, I have no doubt that he will have a big part to play over the coming months and that we shall benefit as a team from his skill and experience," said Hodgson. The club have also signed 29-year-old Toni Kallio from Swiss side BSC Young Boys on unspecified terms. He can play at left-back or in the centre of defence. Fulham are 19th in the 20-team Premier League.
