Two-match ban for Agüero

Cases

Club Atlético de Madrid striker Agüero has been suspended after his red card at Bolton Wanderers FC.

Club Atlético de Madrid striker Agüero has been suspended for two UEFA competition matches after his dismissal in the UEFA Cup Round of 32 first leg against Bolton Wanderers FC in England.

Misses return match
The verdict by UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body means that Agüero will miss his team's return game against Bolton in Spain on Thursday, as well as one further match, either in this season's UEFA Cup or in a future club competition.

Appeal deadline
The 19-year-old Argentinian international was sent off in the 73rd minute of the game on 14 February, which Bolton won 1-0, for spitting at an opponent after committing a foul. An appeal may be lodged against the verdict within three days of receipt of the reasoned decision.
