FA Cup holders Chelsea FC have been drawn away to Barnsley FC, the team that eliminated Liverpool FC, in the quarter-finals on 8/9 March.
United play Portsmouth
Barnsley, from the second-tier Championship, won a dramatic fifth-round game 2-1 at Liverpool on Saturday and have been rewarded with home advantage in the next round. Last season’s beaten finalists Manchester United FC welcome Portsmouth FC, while if the only other Premier League survivors Middlesbrough FC win their replay on Wednesday week against Sheffield United FC they will play Cardiff City FC in their first quarter-final since winning the cup in 1927. In the other tie, Bristol Rovers FC, from England's third division, are at home to a team from one level above, West Bromwich Albion FC.
