Adler return boosts Leverkusen

There was good news for Bayer 04 Leverkusen ahead of next week's UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg against fellow German club Hamburger SV when first-choice goalkeeper René Adler was passed fit to play in Saturday's Bundesliga fixture at VfL Bochum 1848. The 23-year-old had been suffering from a groin strain which kept him out of last weekend's 1-0 victory against FC Schalke 04.
