Adler doubts dog Leverkusen

Goalkeeper René Adler may miss Bayer 04 Leverkusen's UEFA Cup Round of 32 home leg against Galatasaray AS after straining muscles in his hip during Saturday's 2-2 draw at Karlsruher SC. "I'm not yet sure if he can play but I am still optimistic," said coach Michael Skibbe. The 23-year-old Benedikt Fernandez, who played in the 5-0 group stage win at FC Zürich, will start if Adler fails to recover.
