State of flux
The 51-year-old construction magnate has been president at the Mestalla since October 2004, and though he has not enjoyed too much success off the pitch – Ronald Koeman is the fifth coach under his tenure – he has made his mark off it, and intents to see plans through. "As the club's largest shareholder I will make sure all the projects we have started are finished," said Soler, perhaps with an eye on the planned new stadium due for completion in 2009.
