Vutsov steps into Levski fray

Velislav Vutsov has been named as the new coach of the deposed Bulgarian champions PFC Levski Sofia following the dismissal of long-serving Stanimir Stoilov.

Famous father
The 41-year-old Vutsov has left his position as technical director of second division PFC Kaliakra Kavarna and will make his Levski debut on Saturday in the derby at arch-rivals PFC CSKA Sofia. Vutsov is the son of former Bulgaria and Levski coach Ivan Vutsov. He started his career in the youth ranks at Levski before going on to play for a number of local clubs. As a coach he has been in charge of PFC Spartak Varna, PFC Spartak Pleven, PFC Cherno More Varna, PFC Marek Dupnitza and Kaliakra Kavarna.
