Pierre Ducasse struck in added time at Olympique de Marseille to move FC Girondons de Bordeaux to within two points of Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais with two games to go.
Free-kick leveller
A 2-1 victory at the Stade Vélodrome has seen Bordeaux shave two points off Lyon's lead at the top of the table, with the champions having drawn 0-0 at OGC Nice on Saturday. Mamadou Niang had opened the scoring for Marseille after goalkeeper Ulrich Ramé misjudged Samir Nasri's through-ball but Brazilian Wendel struck back for the visitors with an excellent free-kick ten minutes before the end.
Dazzling finale
The game looked destined to end in a draw until Bordeaux conjured up some magic one minute into added time, with Moroccan forward Marouane Chamakh teeing up Ducasse to rattle a dazzling shot past Ramé from 25 metres. In Sunday's other Ligue 1 fixture, AS Saint-Étienne and LOSC Lille Métropole drew 0-0 - a result which suited neither of the UEFA Cup hopefuls.
