AS Roma's Brazilian international goalkeeper Doni has signed a new contract to remain with the Giallorossi until 2012.

The 28-year-old, whose previous deal was due to expire next summer, has accepted a three-year extension to his terms at the Stadio Olimpico. Doni is in his third season with Serie A's second-placed club, having parted with €18,000 of his own money to secure his move to Roma from EC Juventude in 2005. He has featured in all but one of Roma's 36 Serie A matches this term, as well as making nine appearances in the UEFA Champions League.
