Having lost 2-0 away, NAC halved that deficit 28 minutes into today's return at their Rat Verlegh home as Fouad Idabdelhay converted a pass from Joonas Kolkka. Former Netherlands striker Gerald Sibon then took centre stage, scoring on the cusp of half-time and in the 75th minute to render Rogier Veenstra's late leveller academic and ensure a winning send-off for coach Gertjan Verbeek before he departs for Feyenoord. NAC will have one final chance to qualify for Europe when they tackle NEC Nijmegen over two legs for the Eredivisie's fourth and final UEFA Cup berth.
