Lyon capture €8.5m keeper Lloris

The 21-year-old Lloris announced last week that the move was imminent, despite receiving offers from several other clubs. "I didn't hesitate for a second," he said. "There's no better place for me to keep improving." Lloris will compete with Rémy Vercoutre to replace Gregory Coupet at Stade de Gerland as the France No1 has left after spending over a decade at the club. "To succeed Coupet, who has played such a big role at Lyon, is a challenge and an honour," Lloris said.
