Reserve outing
With Wisła's first team drawing 1-1 with Liverpool FC in a friendly in Freiburg on Saturday, a reserve side was left to compete in Sunday's game and were soon a goal down as Zimbabwean striker Takesure Chinyama took advantage of a mistake by Wisła goalkeeper Marcin Juszczyk. Their lead did not last long, though, as Grzegorz Kmiecik levelled just two minutes later with a header following a free-kick from Krzysztof Mączyński.

Rocki's winner
Legia dominated the second half with 34-year-old Piotr Rocki, a summer signing from Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski, eventually deciding the match in front of a 4,000 crowd with a beautiful lob from distance on 87 minutes. "We were not satisfied with our UEFA Cup [first qualifying round] result [a 0-0 draw against Belarus's FC Gomel] and today things were a little bit better," said Legia coach Jan Urban. "We had a couple of good chances and thanks to the goals from Chinyama and Rocki we won the game deservedly."
