The eighth UEFA Conference for European National Coaches will be held in the Austrian capital – the venue for the final – and run the rule over a tournament that received positive reviews for the quality of the football on offer. Such gatherings have become a regular feature of the football programme to discuss tactical and technical trends and issues that have arisen at a major tournaments.
Spain tribute
In Vienna, the conference – entitled 'The UEFA EURO 2008™ Experience' – will pay tribute to the new European champions Spain, examine coaching experiences at the tournament, as well as the leadership role of the national coach, injury and refereeing issues.
