Press conference
The meeting will be staged at the city's Regent Grand Hotel, and is scheduled to take place from 14.00CET to 18.00CET today and from 09.00CET to 12.00CET on Friday. A press conference, attended by UEFA President Michel Platini, will follow the end of the meeting on Friday at approximately 12.15CET at the Regent Grand Hotel.

Busy agenda
UEFA's supreme executive body has a busy agenda to deal with under Mr Platini's chairmanship. One major item is the future format of the UEFA European Championship, currently featuring 16 teams, following studies into possibly expanding the number of final-round participants.

EURO and clubs
The committee will also review hosting arrangements for the UEFA EURO 2012™ final round. Poland and Ukraine were awarded the staging of the tournament in the spring of 2007. UEFA's club competitions will also come under discussion, with various changes to organisational arrangements for the 2009-12 period to be considered.

Investigation unit
Decisions will be taken on the venue for the 2010 UEFA Congress and on the host for the 2009/10 UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship, and talks will focus on establishing a specialised investigation unit which would centre on protecting football's integrity.

Media accreditation
Media representatives wishing to attend the news conference must apply for accreditation by emailing accreditations@uefa.ch no later than Tuesday 23 September with "UEFA EXCO: Bordeaux" mentioned in the header.
