A thrilling comeback by Tottenham Hotspur FC earned them a 4-4 draw at arch-rivals Arsenal FC on a night where Liverpool FC remained top of the Premier League and Chelsea FC won 3-0 at high-flying Hull City AFC.

Dramatic draw
Tottenham replaced manager Juande Ramos with Harry Redknapp on Sunday morning and got their first win of the season against Bolton Wanderers FC that day. Their celebrations continued 13 minutes in tonight when ex-Gunner David Bentley scored his first Tottenham goal with a spectacular dipping shot from 35 metres. However, Mikaël Silvestre equalised and William Gallas and Emmanuel Adebayor made it 3-1 after the break. Tottenham substitute Darren Bent pulled one back, but Robin van Persie immediately scored at the other end. With a minute left Jermaine Jenas pulled one back and deep in injury time substitute Aaron Lennon rescued a point for the bottom side.

Winning streak
Liverpool remain top after Steven Gerrard's penalty secured a 1-0 win against Portsmouth FC, managed by Redknapp's replacement Tony Adams. Chelsea, beaten at home by Liverpool on Sunday, are still within three points after ending Hull's run of four straight wins with efforts from Frank Lampard, Nicolas Anelka and Florent Malouda.

Ronaldo double
Manchester United FC claimed a 2-0 victory against West Ham United FC after Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in the first half but they remain two points behind Aston Villa FC, up to fourth after they recovered from conceding a Stephen Warnock goal against Blackburn Rovers FC to win 3-2. Luke Young levelled on the stroke of half-time before Gareth Barry and Gabriel Agbonlahor sealed the victory ahead of Brett Emerton's late consolation.

Home victories
Middlesbrough FC saw off Manchester City FC 2-0 thanks to Afonso Alves's penalty and Gary O'Neil's last-gasp breakaway goal, taking them into the top half. Andy Johnson struck twice as Fulham FC beat fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic FC 2-0, and Ricardo Fuller's second-half goal sent Sunderland AFC to defeat at Stoke City FC, who are out of the bottom three. Bolton Wanderers FC remain there after Marouane Fellaini's 90th-minute strike earned Everton FC a 1-0 win.
