Dušan Bajević will be unveiled as the new coach of AEK Athens FC on Friday, the 59-year-old returning for a third spell at the helm of the capital club.

Honours
AEK parted company with Georgios Donis on Monday after slipping to sixth place in the Super League, and will hope the Mostar-born coach can recreate the glory days of old. Bajević enjoyed a trophy-laden stint including four championships and a Greek Cup during his first eight-year spell as coach, a tenure which ended acrimoniously in May 1996 when he quit for Olympiacos CFP. That move made his second spell at AEK difficult and he left after 20 months in January 2004. He has since coached Olympiacos again, FK Crvena Zvezda and Aris Thessaloniki FC, guiding them to the Greek Cup final last season.
