Bulgarian international midfielder Blagoi Georgiev has joined Russian side FC Terek Grozny on a four-year deal after the Premier-Liga side agreed a fee of around €1.5m with PFC Slavia Sofia.
Much-travelled
The 27-year-old passed a medical this morning before putting pen to paper on a deal that takes him to his fourth club in as many years. Georgiev left hometown club Slavia for Spain and Deportivo Alavés midway through the 2005/06 campaign, and also had spells in Serbia with FK Crvena Zvezda and Germany at MSV Duisburg before returning to Bulgaria during the summer. Capped 29 times by his country, Georgiev will now link up with international team-mate Valentin Iliev at Terek, who finished tenth in the Premier-Liga last term.
