FC Dinamo Moskva have begun their planning for next season's UEFA Champions League campaign by recruiting Russian starlets Sergei Terekhov and Artur Yusupov and agreeing a new deal with defender Jovan Tanasijević.
'Really happy'
Dinamo, who will enter the 2009/10 competition in the third qualifying round after finishing third in the Premier-Liga in 2008, have brought in 18-year-old left-back Terekhov from first division side FC Dinamo Bryansk, for whom he made 30 league appearances last year. Yusupov, a 19-year-old central midfielder, is a graduate of the famous Yuri Konoplev academy and was playing for FC Toliatti in the second division. "Shortly after I came to Dinamo on trial I was told that I will continue with the club on a permanent basis and I'm really happy with that," he said.
Invaluable experience
Montenegrin international defender Tanasijević is the most experienced member of the Dinamo squad, having played in 126 league games since joining from Serbian side FK Vojvodina in 2003, and looks set to add to that tally after signing a one-year contract extension. "I'm really happy to stay here as Dinamo are a big team," the 30-year-old said.
