O'Neill fears for Laursen future

Aston Villa FC manager Martin O'Neill has admitted club captain Martin Laursen's career is in doubt after his season was ended by yet another knee problem. The Danish centre-back has not played since January because of the latest in a string of injuries which have plagued him since he arrived from AC Milan in 2004. "The news isn't good; he's deliberating what to do. We hoped he'd recover but he's having a hard time," said O'Neill, whose side have won just three of their 12 Premier League games since Laursen was sidelined. "He'll make the decision [about his future] and, whatever decision he comes to, I will respect."
