Theo Walcott has signed a new long-term contract with Premier League outfit Arsenal FC.
'Huge potential'
The north London club have not disclosed any details of the deal for the 20-year-old winger, who signed from Southampton FC in 2006 for a fee that could rise to €17.5m. Walcott began the season in impressive form for club and country, scoring a hat-trick in England's 4-1 defeat of Croatia in a FIFA World Cup qualifier, before dislocating his shoulder in November, an injury which sidelined him until early March. Manager Arsène Wenger told the Arsenal website: "At still only 20 years of age, Theo has huge potential for the forthcoming years and we are all looking forward to see him grow even more in an Arsenal shirt."
