Lille deal for striker Aubameyang

Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined UEFA Europa League hopefuls LOSC Lille Métropole on loan from AC Milan, having spent last season in France with second division Dijon FCO.

Footballing dynasty
The 20-year-old is the son Milan scout Pierre Aubemeyang, a defender who played for the likes of Stade Lavallois Mayenne FC, Le Havre AC, Toulouse FC, US Triestina Calcio, OGC Nice and FC Rouen. The younger Aubameyang scored eight goals in 34 league games for Dijon last season as they finished eighth in Ligue 2. Lille start their European quest in the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.
