SC Braga midfielder Luis Aguiar has joined last year's Premier-Liga runners-up FC Dinamo Moskva in a reported €2.5m transfer after scoring six goals in this season's UEFA Cup with the Portuguese side.
Impressive campaign
The 23-year-old Uruguayan will move to the Russian capital on a four-year contract, saying: "I'm starting a new chapter in my career." As well as catching the eye in Braga's run to the UEFA Cup Round of 16, Luis Aguiar also helped his club finish fifth in the Portuguese Liga, scoring four times in 20 starts.
Gratitude
Dinamo, who go into the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, were quick to move for the former FC Porto player. "I'm very pleased to join such a wonderful club as Dinamo," Luis Aguiar added. "The fact that they play in the Champions League obviously played its role when I decided to move here. I'm grateful to Braga for all they have given me."
