Germany's midfielder Simone Laudehr has recovered from a knee injury suffered in the pre-UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2009™ friendly against Russia and will be available for the second Group B game against France on Thursday in Tampere.

Full squad
"Everything is OK. From my point of view, I can play," explained the 23-year-old, who trained on Tuesday morning with full intensity. Coach Silvia Neid, whose side beat Norway 4-0 on Monday with Kim Kulig in Laudehr's usual defensive midfield role, therefore has a fully fit squad to take on Les Bleues. "I am happy for her that she is in the mix again," Neid said. "We have more options with her. I don't know yet whether I should change my successful team from the first game."
